Sistemak helburuen detekzioa integratzen du, jarraipena & aitortza, agindua & blokeatzeari buruzko kontrola, funtzio anitzeko bakarrean. Aplikazio-eszenatoki desberdinetan oinarrituta, sistema malgutasunez heda daiteke soluzio optimo batean detekzio-unitate eta blokeo-gailu desberdinak aukeratuz. AUDS instalazio finkoa izan daiteke, ibilgailu mugikorrean muntatuta edo eramangarria. Instalazio mota finkoaren arabera, AUDS oso erabilia da maila altuko segurtasun babeserako guneetan, ibilgailua muntatutako mota normalean ohiko patruila edo gehiago erabiltzen da, eta mota eramangarria asko erabiltzen da aldi baterako prebentziorako & gako konferentzian kontrola, kirol ekitaldiak, kontzertua etab.
